Gros Plant du Pays Nantais is a dry, tart white wine produced in the Pays Nantais, the wine-growing district surrounding the city of Nantes in the western Loire Valley. The appellation covers virtually the same geographical area as the region’s main appellation, Muscadet, with a little more land to the west, near the Atlantic coast, and losing a few communes further inland to the east.<\/p>\n
It should be drunk in its youth but it retains its freshness and character for at least 2 to 3 years.
