Behind a dark red colour with purplish highlights on GM lie beautiful aromas of ripe fruit and lilac. It’s on the palate that you realise just how powerful this warm wine is, with its intense fruitiness and silky tannins.<\/p>\n

VINIFICATION:<\/strong> Harvest entirely destemmed, vatting for 10-15 days; malolactic fermentation; racking then filtration on soil in February\/March.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

AGEING:<\/strong> In vats for 4 months and bottled by us. La vinification, l’\u00e9levage et le stockage se d\u00e9roulent enti\u00e8rement dans des caves troglodytiques creus\u00e9es dans le tuffeau, \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature quasi constante de 10-12\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

TASTING NOTES:<\/strong> The fruity nose, backed up by persistent red fruit flavours on the palate, and its lightness make this a delicious wine. This low-ageing cuv\u00e9e (2-3 years) is best appreciated for its freshness.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the Saumur vineyards, our estate, managed by Marc and Etienne Rideau, is located in TURQUANT, a village of winegrowers, charm and crafts; but also in the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
\nMarc Rideau took over his grandfather’s vineyards in 1985, then another estate in 1993 and expanded the vineyard: 12 hectares spread over four communes, Montsoreau, Parnay, Souzay, Champigny and Turquant.
