Tasting<\/strong>: This seductive Coteaux du Layon with fruity notes is made from a manual harvest of golden and raisined bunches of Chenin.
\nEnjoy its exotic flavours: pineapple, mangoes, quinces.
\nIt can be considered with spiced prawns or an apricot
\ntart To be enjoyed from aperitif to dessert. We recommend serving this wine at a temperature of between 10\u00b0C and 12\u00b0C.
\nTerroir:<\/strong> “Le Grand Clos”, Sousign\u00e9 village, Soil and subsoil: talc schist and gravel on phtanite. Grape variety<\/strong>: Chenin
\nHarvest:<\/strong>The grapes were picked by hand in mid-November 2015. The bunches selected during the different passages are golden, botrytised and overripe.
\nVinification:<\/strong>The grapes are transported in small bins and arrive intact at the winery, where they are poured into a pneumatic press. A long (around 10 hours) and delicate pressing process begins. This is followed by static settling, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats and ageing. Finally, the bottling took place in March 2016, at the Domaine.
\nThis beautiful Layon is fresh and balanced, with white and citrus fruits, in a supple and pleasant register. Ideal with spiced gambas or apricot tart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Based in the troglodyte village of Martign\u00e9-Briand, Antoine Leduc, an oenologist, and his sister Nathalie have been running the family estate (30 hectares under sustainable agriculture) since 1990. Their wines are kept, as they should be, in the coolness of underground cellars dug into the falun.
