This Saumur white 100% Chenin is the first organic cuv\u00e9e of the estate aged in stoneware jars for 6 months. This wine is made of native yeast. <\/p>\n

The town of Turquant was once renowned for its white wines.
\nChenin de Turquant, powerful and supple at the same time with very ripe and woody notes.<\/p>\n

Palate: rich and full-bodied, these wines always feature fine, velvety tannins and a fresh, balanced finish.

\nMushrooms in a cream salad, fried Loire, grilled mullet fillets with peppers, Dieppe-style sole fillet, warm cheese tartlet, Beaufort cheese<\/p>\n

So my first white cuv\u00e9e, we are on a Saumur blanc, the cuv\u00e9e La Grande Pi\u00e8ce in 2021, so it’s the first organic cuv\u00e9e of the estate, we are on a Chenin grape variety 100% aged in fertilizer jars for six months and the particularity of this wine is that we are in indigenous yeast, so there was no yeast age, we went to look for grapes a little before the harvest where we made misery at the beginning the fermentations naturally and then we incorporated two weeks later when we harvested so here we are on a very simple ageing zero inputs and so it’s already the 2021 vintage we are on very nice aromas and at the level of movement to little on the menu it can accompany small dishes with in particular snails at the level of starters or to the critics it goes very well<\/p>\n
