After a long pressing and a light settling, the ageing and fermentation (from indigenous yeasts) are carried out in vats, for a minimum of 2 years, and in contact with the fine lees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Croix Picot 2020 retains the relief and delicacy that characterize this cuv\u00e9e. You can feel the vintage effect with a roundness in the wine that testifies to the beautiful ripeness of that year. The whole is refreshed by saline notes on the finish. <\/p>\n

We then think of clams stuffed with almond butter, to harmonize with this Savenni\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We recommend a serving temperature between 12\u00b0C and 14\u00b0C, with possible decanting. It can be tasted now, or in the next ten to fifteen years. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Domaine de la Bergerie<\/strong> is located in the heart of Anjou Noir<\/strong>. The region is so named because of its dark soils, mostly composed of a schist basement. There is also sandstone, puddingstones, clay… and many other geological nuances. The 27 hectares<\/strong> that make up our vineyard<\/strong> will therefore benefit and be enriched by this diversity. They are also exposed to a certain mildness of oceanic influence. This unique terroir allows you to explore all the facets of the estate’s grape varieties, such as Chenin, Cabernet Franc, or Pineau d’Aunis.
