\nManual harvesting of the Chenin, with a rigorous control of the sanitary state, to harvest healthy grapes in September before a long and delicate pressing followed by a meticulous settling at controlled temperatures of 12 to 15\u00b0C. Alcoholic fermentation in barrels. No malolactic fermentation in order to keep a nice freshness.
\nAlcohol content: 14.5\u00b0 – Total acidity: 3.5 – Residual sugars: 2.5g
\nBreeding <\/b>
\nAged 100% in barrels (15% new) with resuspension of the lees for several months.
\nBottled in July 2023.
\nServing: 12-13\u00b0C <\/b>
\nThis wine is already perfect… but will evolve without problems over 5 to 10 years.
\nTasting <\/b>
\nThe colour <\/b>is magnificent, deep and dense with a canary yellow, almost golden colour.
\nThe nose <\/b>delivers a very nice complexity. White and yellow fruits attack a thunderous concerto with aromas of peaches, apricots and quinces, then floral notes of lime blossom and syringe bring freshness, before the smoothness brought by woody, vanilla and toasted nuances.
\nThe palate <\/b>is velvety, generous and dense. All the richness of the nose is there, with a hint of candied citrus fruit on the finish, which enhances the aftertaste and gives this magnificent cuv\u00e9e de Loups blancs its beautiful length and verticality.

Domaine de Nerleux is a family estate in the Loire Valley. The Nerleux, or “Black Wolves” in old French, have long since given way to vines, and Am\u00e9lie Neau, the 9th generation of winemakers, has been at the helm since 2010.<\/p>\n

The latest generation is represented by Am\u00e9lie Neau who, in 2010, after ten years’ professional experience in the banking sector, answered the call of the land, her land. After training in viticulture and winemaking, she joined her parents, Elisabeth and R\u00e9gis, on the estate. The handover was short-lived and Am\u00e9lie quickly took over from her parents, who are now enjoying a well-deserved retirement.<\/p>\n
