Our cuv\u00e9e Urbain V is a reminder of the orders placed in the 14th century by the Papacy of Avignon with the winegrowers of Saint-Pour\u00e7ain. <\/span>For decades, the precious nectar was transported from the Allier to the Rh\u00f4ne as far as Avignon. <\/span>Made from the best plots on the estate, this cuv\u00e9e is matured for many months in local oak barrels. The P\u00e9tillat family, owners of the estate since 1920, put their family know-how at the service of these wines.
\nThe vineyard now covers 22 hectares and half of the vines cultivated today are more than 30 years old.
