ALL THE GOURMET SPECIALTIES OF THE LOIRE VALLEY, from volcanoes to salt marshes

Since 1989, Jean-Yves AURADON has striven to promote the culinary specialties and the great diversity of wines from the Loire Valley.
But it is Eric BONNAMY who took over the shop in 2019 and who will welcome you throughout the year to make you taste the flavors of the Loire and who will advise you on the wines.
To promote the know-how of craftsmen and producers, to develop the sensoriality around their products, to cultivate an art of living while sharing encounters and simple pleasure.
Discovery, culture and gourmet pleasures are the cornerstones of LOIRE GOURMANDE, aimed at locals and day-trippers alike.

If Loire Gourmande has set up shop at 17 rue Château Gaillard, it is no coincidence because this place, well known to the people of Turquant, is at the initiative of the renewal of the village in terms of its development of arts and crafts.
Indeed, Mrs. Josée Thiriau, Mosaïste worked there with great passion. During your visit, you’ll discover his works of art, which lend a very special cachet to the whole place.

Label Vignobles et découvertes

Loire Gourmande has been awarded the State Label for Vineyards & Discoveries

Received at the beginning of 2026, this “Vignobles & Découvertes” label is an official recognition awarded by Atout France, the National Agency for Tourism Development.

Created in 2009, it promotes wine destinations that offer a quality tourist offer, highlighting the richness and diversity of the vineyards, as well as related activities such as tasting, gastronomy and cultural discovery. Once labelled, you benefit from institutional recognition that reinforces your credibility and attractiveness to wine lovers and travellers.
