The clay-limestone or sandy-siliceous soils make this an ideal terroir for the balance and expression of Pinot.

Description

Description: Pinot Beurot is the old name for Pinot gris in Burgundy because of the grey colour of the grape resembling monks’ bure, hence the name Beurot.
Terroir: Clay and silica.
Parcels: Les Beauregards.
Grape: variety Pinot Gris
Winemaking: Pressed directly, the grape juice is put into barrels in the cellar where it will remain for 11 months, the time of alcoholic fermentation, then malolactic.
Stirring every week, ageing without added sulphur.
Barrels of 2 wines so as not to influence the aromatics of this grape variety.
Bottled in September, 1 year after its harvest with a very small dose of sulphur for its preservation.
Tasting notes: Powerful, aromatic and full-bodied.
