The AOC Anjou is an appellation rich in history and diversity. This wine region is a must-see for wine lovers. Anjou is a wine appellation located in the Loire region of France near Angers that allows the production of famous red and white wines. The AOC Anjou grape varieties of the Loire Valley The AOC Anjou brings together several types of wines: red, white, rosé and sparkling. In organic wines, we currently only sell white and red wine. The red wines are made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with secondary grapes from Grolleau and Pineau d’Aunis being allowed.

Description
Terroir: schisto-gravelly
Exposure: south-west
Geographical location: municipality of Champ-sur-Layon
Harvest: Manual.
Winemaking: Fermentation and ageing in temperature-controlled vats for 4 months. Bottled in the spring following the harvest.
Cellaring: 2 years.
Tasting: Light yellow colour. Fresh and elegant nose with aromas of white flowers and exotic fruits. A frank attack, a supple and fruity palate. Light and lively finish.
Food and wine pairing:
As an aperitif, accompanied by “bouquet” shrimps just seared!
Grilled small sardines, pan-fried new potatoes.
