region The Domaine Jean Luc Viaud is one of the largest estates in the world. It offers 9 wines for sale in the Muscadet-Sevre region and the Domaine Jean-Luc VIAUD is located in the commune of Le Landreau in the village of La Renouère. Jean Luc represents the fourth generation of winegrowers in his family. His three predecessors are all called Pierre. Although they didn’t pass on their first names to him, they did pass on their passion for winegrowing.

Description
Having found its home in the Loire Atlantique region, Muscadet has become the jewel in the crown of Nantes’ culture. In particular, Jean-Luc Viaud remains loyal to it and promotes it by offering it good terroirs and all his know-how.
Grape: variety : Melon de Bourgogne de sélection massale
Age: 1 to 60 years
Soil: Hillsides and shallow sandy soil on mica schists and gneiss
The precisely controlled harvesting machine allows the ripe berries to be collected in a short time.
Direct pressing, settling for 12 to 18 hours and filtration of the must extract the substance of the future wine and refine it.
Alcoholic fermentation at 16-20°C reveals the wine’s full range of aromas, with floral and fruity notes from the grape berry that vary according to the vintage.
Ageing on the lees until March of the year following the harvest stabilises it and gives it its sparkle.
Each year, rigorous tastings are carried out to find the best expression of the vintage, resulting in a precise blend of the year’s best cuvées.
It can be enjoyed young for its freshness. This wine combines aromatic complexity and finesse with freshness and roundness. It goes well with oysters, seafood and cooked fish, notably with the famous beurre blanc recipe.
