Winegrowers for several generations (1750), the Jean-Paul Picard et fils estate cultivates with passion its 14 hectares of vines, all located on the slopes of Bué which are among the best in Sancerre.

Having learned from the lessons of the past, they have been able to adapt modern techniques while preserving manual harvesting and artisanal know-how.

Since Mickael’s arrival on the farm in 2004, the estate has also been cultivating vines in the Menetou-Salon appellation to produce white and red wines.

Description

A word from the winemaker:
This wine comes from our own plots located about twenty km from the estate. Its intense citrus aromas distinguish it from Sancerre. A subtle blend of fruit and flowers for this wine, made from Sauvignon grapes.

Winemaking:

Hand-harvested :pneumatically pressed and cold-settled.
Ageing:Aged on fine lees for a minimum of three to four months. Fining and filtration before bottling.

Taste assessment :Pale gold colour. Very aromatic nose (exotic fruit, citrus fruit, etc.). Palate: dry, round wine with a surprising
balance Holding and storage – Ageing potential: Ageing for 3 to 4 years

Serve at 8-10° C
