Winegrowers for several generations (since 1750), the Jean-Paul Picard et Fils estate passionately cultivates its 14 hectares of vines, all located on the Bué hillsides, which are among the best in the Sancerre region.
Having learnt the lessons of the past, they have adapted modern techniques while retaining manual harvesting and traditional know-how.
Since Mickael joined the domaine in 2004, the estate has also been growing vines in the Menetou-Salon appellation to produce white and red wines.

Description
A word from the winemaker :
This wine is made from our own plots located some twenty kilometres from the estate. Its intense citrus aromas distinguish it from Sancerre. A subtle blend of fruit and flowers for this wine, made from Sauvignon grapes.

Winemaking:
Hand-harvested :pneumatically pressed and cold-settled.
Ageing:Aged on fine lees for a minimum of three to four months. Fining and filtration before bottling.
Taste assessment :Pale gold colour. Very aromatic nose (exotic fruit, citrus fruit, etc.). On the palate: a dry, round wine with surprising balance
Ageing potential: 3 to 4 years
Serve at 8-10° C

Goes well with : Aperitif, Fish, Shellfish, Sea Food, Cheese
Pissaladière with tomatoes and anchovies, pumpkin pie, vegetarian quiche, shellfish salad
