The coat of arms of two dragons with horns of plenty has been the emblem of the family home since 1895, and wisteria blooms here every spring. The Vendée flows at the foot of the family’s 22 hectare vineyard, backed by the Mervent-Vouvant forest. Its clay-silica soil gives Pissotte wines their distinctive character and fine aromas. In the coolness of the cellar, you’ll appreciate the warmth of the welcome. Here, we are winegrowers from father to son. Generations pass, but the values remain: “Tradition, balance, respect for the things in life”. The estate converted to organic farming in 2016

Description
This is the name of the house on the estate and the limestone from which it is made. A blend of 90% Chenin and 10% Chardonnay, macerated overnight for richness and body, long fermentation and matured for 12 months in 400-litre barrels from the Mervent-Vouvant forest. Quince paste on the nose, rich and full on the palate with notes of acacia honey. Be careful, the 2021 vintage has only been pre-filtered, it may present a slight veil that does not hinder the tasting in any way, but shows all the intrinsic richness of this wine.
White wine made from plot selection, composed of a blend of Fiefs Vendéens type with 90% Chenin and 10% Chardonnay.
