Description

Heir to a line of winegrowers dating back to 1789, Marc Badiller set up in 1984 on the family estate, established between the Loire and the forest of Chinon: 13 hectares on the hillsides of Cheillé producing a wide range of Touraine wines. In 2015, the last generation (Pierre and Vincent) took over.
The P’tit Berton 2019 is a light and harmonious red wine that you will enjoy drinking in all circumstances. You will certainly find slightly spicy and liquorice notes.
P’tit Berton is the nickname given by our grandmother to the Cabernet Franc called “Breton” in our region. This unpretentious, light and easy-to-drink cuvée goes well with everything, and especially with grandma Hélène’s Sunday lunchtime roast chicken.
Elegance and discretion characterize this confidential cuvée. The nose, typical of Cabernet Franc, opens with red fruit, jam and the inevitable notes of pepper. The palate is on a par with this, with a pleasant roundness and smooth tannins.
